Beach Volleyball

Beach Volleyball amalgamates the concepts of a bracing environment and energetic exercise and gifts a sport that is safe and acts as a stimulant to flexibility and cardio-vascular fitness.

The origin of Beach Volleyball can be traced back to Santa Monica, California in the year 1920. However, Santa Monica failed in her efforts to initiate a professional beach volleyball tournament, which was later held in France. It was only in the 1990's and the 2000's that beach volleyball touched the height of popularity and it can be attributed, to a fairly large degree, to the media exposure. Today, beach volleyball has become synonymous to a beach party or a simple beach getaway.
 
The Brazilian and the US players have largely dominated the international beach volleyball for years. They have done their country proud by clinching the Olympic gold medal.
