The airport terminal will be renovated and equipped with all international standard amenities, while the control tower will be replaced by a building housing all the modern aeronautical devices.
The increased passenger traffic to the city of Malacca has increased the importance of the Batu Berendam Airport in recent times. The airport after renovation and extensive development will surely become a major stopover point for many airlines, both domestic and international.
