The 9th ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 is scheduled to held in
West Indies during March 13-April 28, 2007. The largest ever
edition of the game, the 2007 Cricket World Cup would see
a total of 16 teams contesting for the cup. The opening match
would be played between the host West Indies and Pakistan
on March 13, 2007 at Sabina Park in Jamaica. The Second Stage
Group 8 matches will start from 27 March 2007 and will end
on April 21, 2007. Then, the top four teams from Super 8 will
meet in two semi-finals on April 24 and April 25 at Jamaica
and St Lucia respectively.
