Pakistan’s opening batsman Imran Nazir scored the second century of his career in the game against Zimbabwe. His 160 off 121 balls is also his career best and included 13 fours and eight sixes.
All-rounder Shahid Afridi from Pakistan claimed his 200th one-day wicket in the game against Zimbabwe at Sabina Park, Kingston.
Sri Lankan Sanath Jayasuriya made his 24th one-day century in the match against Bangladesh. He made 109 runs in 87 balls, and hit seven fours and seven sixes in his inning.
In their most decisive match against Sri Lanka, India lost by 69 runs with a mere score of 185 against Sri Lanka’s 254 runs and disappointing millions of cricket lovers at home.
