The football stadium at Nuremberg is among the three stadiums
in Germany, which has an athletics track. The other city stadiums
that have athletics track are Berlin and Stuttgart. Nonetheless
the Nuremberg Frankenstadion provides top rate facilities.
Right from the beginning of reconstruction work, a state-of-the-art
eco-friendly provision to store rainwater in a specially built
reservoir has been installed which is capable of meeting the
stadium's entire watering needs. The stadium's exclusively
designed "Eco Management and Audio Scheme", is a
highly evolved environmental optimization process which has
already won rave reviews from the scientific world.
The surface area has been brought down and extra seats have
been fitted to increase the capacity to 45, 500 which is highly
laudable. |
