"Silent Night Silent Night"… is a famous composition of Austrian priest called Joseph Mohr. The poem was composed in 1816. When in 1818 during Christmas the organ at St. Nicholas Church in the village Oberndorf was broken, Joseph Mohr gave this poem to his friend Franz Xavier Gruber and the tune for Silent Night was composed.
